I got my introduction to photography as a college student, where I learned the basics, including film development and darkroom techniques. Photography and my cameras were shelved when the family started and remained dormant for the better part of the next 15 years. I returned to photography with my first Nikon SLR then digital camera. The passion was quick to awaken.
My photographic interests include landscape, closeup and macro photography. In the case of landscape photography, I endeavor to capture the natural beauty of the Norway or other european landscapes I encounter during my travels. I am moved by the serenity and beauty of these places and try to communicate that feel in images of what many might mistake as the commonplace.
I hope you enjoy the my Photoblog and would invite you to return regularly to view new images and blog posts as they are posted.
